Synergy Client Solutions Impressed at Value of Britain’s Properties

Synergy Client Solutions was impressed to learn that Britain’s properties are worth a total of £5 trillion, with the South West being the third most valuable region.

Property in Britain has always been a valuable investment particularly in the south of England. A report by the website PrimeLocation.com has calculated the property wealth of the UK’s counties and regions. Bristol-based Synergy Client Solutions was thrilled to learn that as a region the south west was the third wealthiest with total property valued at £488.3 billion.

Synergy Client Solutions, a customer acquisitions company, was unsurprised to learn that there was a clear North-South divide. The website also counted the property wealth per head of the UK’s counties and the top ten spots were exclusively taken up by those in the South of England.

When the total property wealth for the UK’s regions was calculated the figures were staggering.

1. South East (£1.6 trillion)
2. London (£1.0 trillion)
3. South West (£488.3 billion)
4. East (£482.5 billion)
5. West Midlands (£367 billion)
6. East Midlands (£336.1 billion)
7. Scotland (£322.1 billion)
8. Yorkshire & Humberside (£300 billion)
9. North West (£253.9 billion)
10. Wales (£223.3 billion)
11. North East (£162.9 billion)

A representative of Synergy Client Solutions believes that the figures are encouraging. “At Synergy Client Solutions we’re relieved to see that property is still such a strong market. Of course we’re particularly delighted that our home region where we're based in Bristol is doing so well but generally around the country things are looking positive.

As a company that specialises in utility-funded home insulation sales we’re aware of the quality of homes in our region so it’s no surprise that the value of property is going up and up. Property has always been a solid investment in the UK and we hope that it will continue to be a great financial security to people around the country.”

Synergy Client Solutions: Record Rain Will Not Abate Drought Measures

Record levels of rain this April will have little affect on hosepipe bans, Synergy Client Solutions understands.

Synergy Client Solutions, a customer acquisitions company in Bristol had recently reported on the hosepipe bans facing much of the UK so when they first read that April would be the wettest month on record they had assumed that our drought worries would be over. Apparently not so.

Some areas of the UK are expected to be hit by a month’s worth of rain in just a few days and the Met Office has issued severe weather warnings across some areas of southern England and eastern Scotland. Synergy Client Solutions would like to echo the warning issued by a spokesperson for the Met Office who said, “The public should take extra care and be aware heavy rain may lead to localised surface water flooding and poor driving conditions.”

Synergy Client Solutions understands that the extreme weather is to include thunderstorms, heavy snow in the Scottish mountains, flood warnings in Devon and tornado clouds have been spotted in Manchester, Durham, East Anglia and Lincolnshire.

Experts however continue to insist that the downpours will have little effect on the drought in Britain which is the worst since 1976 when standing pipes had to be installed in towns throughout the country. The Environmental Agency has said that because the soil is so dry only steady rain during the winter will have an effect and wash into rivers and groundwater.

A spokesperson for Synergy Client Solutions said, “Residents might find it frustrating that with all this rain, drought measures are still in place. Unfortunately it simply isn’t enough at this stage to have any substantial effect. We can be pleased that we won’t need to get our hosepipes out to water the garden but should stick to the instructions given to us to help prevent further measures when summer finally comes around.”

Synergy Client Solutions Celebrates the Olivier Awards 2012

Synergy Client Solutions celebrates a year of theatre with the Olivier Awards 2012.

With the film awards season over a couple of months ago, the film and theatre fanatics at Synergy Client Solutions were getting anxious for their next fix of glitz and glamour. The Olivier Awards were a perfect way to get back into the swing of things.

The Olivier, or Lawrence Olivier Awards to give them their full title, were created in 1976. The first ceremony had just 12 awards, a number which has grown over the years as the awards have become more and more prominent. Originally called the Society of West End Theatre Awards, it wasn’t until 1984 that Lawrence Olivier allowed his name to be associated with the awards in celebration of his contribution to London theatre.

Synergy Client Solutions specialises in customer acquisitions and campaign management for the entertainment industry so they naturally keep up to date with all of the events going on in the theatre and film world. The awards were record breakers this year with Matilda The Musical, based on Roald Dahl’s best-selling children’s book, winning an incredible 7 awards including Best Actress in a Musical which was presented jointly to the four young actresses who share the role of Matilda.

Synergy Client Solutions can reveal that the other main winners were.

Ruth Wilson – Best Actress

Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller – Best Actor

Matthew Warchus, Matilda – Best Director

Matilda – Best New Musical

Les Misérables – BBC Radio 2 Olivier Audience Award.

Benjamin Jeanes, managing director of Synergy Client Solutions said of the event,  “People often get swept up in the huge televised American film awards and don’t give enough credit to the theatre world. At Synergy Client Solutions we believe that theatre plays a huge role in Britain’s entertainment history and we’re delighted that the Olivier Awards allow that culture to be celebrated.”

Synergy Client Solutions April Film Review

With April in full swing and the Easter school holidays upon on us, Synergy Client Solutions comes up with their favourite movies for this month.

Synergy Client Solutions is a customer acquisitions company based in Bristol. As they work with some of the biggest companies in the entertainment and film industry, it’s hardly surprising that they keep their fingers on the button when it comes to new releases. They’ve picked out three of their favourite films to get you through the Easter break.

If you’re looking for something to watch as a family over the holidays then Mirror Mirror, based on the story of Snow White, is perfect for adults and children alike. The cast includes Lily Collins who plays Snow White and The Queen is played by Julia Roberts. Synergy Client Solutions liked that the dialogue is quick and funny and, much like Finding Nemo, it has jokes for the adults as well as the kids. The 7 dwarfs have moved on a little since the Disney classic, they dress like ninjas, they’re bandits and they trick their victims into thinking that they’re giants with their extendible legs. It’s visually stunning and will be appreciated by everyone.

With the 100 anniversary of the sinking of the mighty Titanic, James Cameron has re-released Titanic in stunning 3D. This film was a box office record breaker the first time round and was nominated for 11 Oscars. You probably already know the story and though this film wasn’t for everyone,  the incredible special effects make it impressive even if you weren’t interested in the storyline. Synergy Client Solutions is sure that this is going to be popular second time round making fans in the new generation along the way.

The Cabin in the Woods is definitely not one for the whole family but for those of you who like a fright then Synergy Client Solutions is confident that this won’t disappoint. Though the basic plot might seem formulaic, group of young adults spend the weekend in a cabin in the woods and terrifying things happen, this film will turn any expectations you have inside out. The Cabin in the Woods has had incredible reviews by film critics and if terrifying yourself is your kind of thing then this is the perfect film to go and see when it’s released on Friday 13th.

Synergy Client Solutions Watches Inflation Fall to 15 Month Low

UK inflation has fallen to a 15 month low of 3.4% through February, the fall is largely attributed to lower gas and electricity bills. Synergy Client Solutions examines what this means for Britain.

The statistics released by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) today have shown that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation has fallen by 0.2% since January. The rating has not been this low since November 2010. The report also suggested that huge sales and discounts among retailers have affected the inflation rate.

Synergy Client Solutions had read in the last couple of days that analysts were expecting the fall to have been slightly greater. An average taken on the forecasts of 36 economists, had predicted that inflation would fall to as low as 3.3% but high alcohol prices, as part of a government drive to curb binge-drinking, had played a factor in stopping the rate fall even further. The prices of spirits rose 2.6 percent in February, this compared to a decline of 5.8 percent in the same period last year is significant. Vegetable and soft drinks prices rose by 3.3 percent and 4.3 percent respectively.

Managing Director Benjamin Jeanes believes that whilst this is a step in the right direction he still has concerns. “Unfortunately we still see inflation higher than wage growth meaning that people are still being squeezed financially. At Synergy Client Solutions we will be interested to see what George Osborne reveals in his annual budget tomorrow where he has promised to help low-income individuals through tax changes.”

Mervyn King, the Governor of the Bank of England has predicted that inflation will slow throughout the rest of the year but some analysts believe that it will stick harder than Mr. King would like.

Mr. Jeanes concludes, “Savers are always hardest hit by inflation rises so things appear to be heading in the right direction for them. Energy bills have been rising to outrageous heights recently, leaving the hardest-up heading towards fuel poverty. We’re relieved that those are gradually falling, and will continue to do so as we head into the summer months. This will be a long road to recovery for the UK and at Synergy Client Solutions we will be evaluating Mr. Osborne’s budget carefully.”

Synergy Client Solutions Reviews: Reality Check by Guy Kawasaki

The latest booking keeping Synergy Client Solutions company on the way to work is ‘Reality Check: The Irreverent Guide to Outsmarting, Outmanaging, and Outmarketing Your Competition’ by Guy Kawasaki

Synergy Client Solutions, a customer acquisitions company based in Bristol, is always on the look out for business role models, so when they came across this book it immediately caught their eye. You could write a book about the author himself. Guy Kawasaki's business background is extensive and eclectic. He learnt how to sell in the jewellery trade and went on to work at Apple. Guy also set up the website alltop.com described as an “online magazine rack” of popular topics on the internet.

Guy’s writing style is irreverent, to the point and highly amusing. He is the author of 10 books and a blog called “How to Change the World” that has a readership in the hundreds of thousands. What Synergy Client Solutions likes most about 'Reality Check' is that it's unlike most business books. The chapters are divided into themes than be read separately or in order. They cover topics like raising money, innovating, communicating, hiring and firing. It is essentially a collection of the best parts of his blog.

Synergy Client Solutions feels that Guy’s intricate understanding of the internet only serves to enhance the book. In the chapter entitled “As Good as Steve Jobs” he directs readers to Majora Carter’s 2005 TED talk and breaks down why it is such a fantastic public speech and how you can learn to do the same.  At almost 500 pages this book feels like a bible in your hands and it will certainly become a book that Synergy Client Solutions would recommend entrepreneurs, salesmen and small business owners to live by!

Managing director of Synergy Client Solutions pulled out his favourite chapter,  “The most fascinating chapter for me was “Ten or so things to learn at school.” The reason it was so interesting was that none of the items on the list are things that they actually teach you at school! They included, how to talk to your boss, how to survive a meeting, how to figure anything out on your own, how to explain something in 30 seconds. These are all valuable skills that we should really be teaching our children to prepare them for the business world.”

Both the book and author are fantastic, Reality Check is sure to start your love affair with Kawasaki’s style of writing. He has so many anecdotes from his own experiences to offer that it makes the book feel very personal. Synergy Client Solutions have their thumbs pointed well and truly up.

Will Napster Have Success Launching in the UK? Synergy Client Solutions Dives into its Past.

Napster has announced that they will be re-launching in the UK to grab a share of the market that Spotify dominates. Synergy Client Solutions charts the rise and fall of the music sharing company.

Napster, illegal file-sharing giant of the early 2000s, will me making a come-back in the UK in the form of a legal file-sharing site hoping to take on the likes of Spotify. Bristol based Synergy Client Solutions is excited to find out whether Napster can stay on the right side of the law this time round and whether its business model and famous name will be enough to propel it to success.

Towards the end of 2011 Napster was bought by Rhapsody, a subscription music service, in the USA. However after Napster’s long running legal battles it was decided that Rhapsody would cease to trade under the famous name. Synergy Client Solutions is now aware that the UK and German arms of Napster were not bought at that time. Until now. In a turnaround for the books it appears that Napster will be revived in the UK under its original name.

The president of Rhapsody, Jon Irwin, is delighted by the move and said “The acquisition of Napster and its subscriber base in the UK and Germany gives us an ideal entry into the European market.” He went on to say, “Through the benefit of scale, the strength of our editorial programming, and strategic partnerships, we can now bring the Napster service to even more consumers on a variety of platforms.”

Napster’s rise to the top was part of the dotcom boom of the 1990s. In 1999 19 year-old Shawn Fanning designed software that allowed users to share music files over the internet for free. He teamed with Sean Parker, who was also involved in the start-up of Facebook, to make the service. The manager of Synergy Client Solutions notes, “Many people know about the Sean Parker side of the story because of the film The Social Network but many people haven’t heard of Shawn Fanning.”

Musicians and music executives launched a huge legal battle against Napster when they saw their shop sales dive and the company was shut down in 2001. It has tried to go straight once before in 2003 as a legal downloading site but couldn’t compete with the mighty iTunes.

Bristol has a huge music scene and you often hear people talking about Spotify, a digital streaming service which is entirely legal, has gained huge popularity in the last few years. Synergy Client Solutions believes that Napster will be keen to capitalize on that success whilst using a name that everyone knows and recognizes.
